About the Bank
 
Arab Bank Iraq was established in 2024 as a private Iraqi joint-stock company with a capital base of 250 billion Iraqi Dinars. With its headquarters and first branch located in Baghdad, the bank is pursuing an ambitious expansion plan, which includes opening new branches in Baghdad, Basra, Erbil, and other major cities and provinces in line with the bank’s forward-looking vision.
Arab Bank Iraq was established by Arab Bank, which owns approx. 60% of the bank’s capital, along with its strategic regional partnerships; Arab National Bank of Saudi Arabia, which holds a 20% share, while the “Al-Muhaidib Group”, a prominent Saudi investment group represented by its subsidiary (Isnad Company for Companies Management), holds a 10% share. The bank has also expanded its shareholder base by offering 10% of its capital to attract investors both domestically and internationally.
 Arab Bank Iraq offers a wide range of banking products and services, including Consumer Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking, and Treasury. Furthermore, the bank offers digital banking services, designed to provide customers with a seamless banking experience that caters to their evolving needs and expectations.
As part of the Arab Bank Group, one of the largest global Arab banking networks, Arab Bank Iraq re-establishes the bank’s historic presence in Iraq dating back to the period from 1945 to 1964 in Baghdad, Erbil, and Mosul.
